About My Corgi(s):
I have a beautiful Corgi Mix named Sara. I adopted Sara on May 3, 2009 from a shelter in Miami (we had to drive 1 hour and 1/2 to get her). She is a little under a year old to a year from what the vet saw of her teeth. We are her fourth owner, not because of Sara, because the one of the owner's kept passing away. The last owners, husband and wife, adopted her and then a month later the wife passed away. Sara does suffer from separation anxiety, but other then that she is perfect!! She loves the water, doesn't mind wearing clothes, and follows us where ever we go. My honey has never owned a dog and refused to let me get one for 2 years; I kept pushing until we got Sara. Now, he is making sure I do not wake her, and when we go to the beach they are always together. We are not sure what else she is mixed with because someone told us that Corgi's are never black with white paws. Other dog owners thinks she looks to have Dachshund, Chihuahua, and a few others. I would really like to try the Doggie Dna testing but I heard it doesn't work.
Thank you for the link..I saved it and will look it over later. I haven't advertised anywhere lately except for my website and referrals. Thanks again.
Sara is a very beautiful dog! Can I ask, how much does she weigh? I am fostering a corgi mix right now and I can't determine what he's mixed with and I figured a weight range would help. He's around 30 pounds, maybe a lab mix? I know there are a lot of lab corgis around this area for some reason and I really wish I could find the person's corgi and neuter/spay it cause it has caused a lot of issues. I was lucky to have saved Milo to begin with and to keep adding is crazy.
Congratulations on your new addition! I'm certain she will bring you the unconditional love that dogs can. She is just adorable!!! Our dog loves boating and the water too. She loves to swim but it's difficult for those little legs to keep that heavy body afloat. She loves to hunt lizards. If we go boating and go to an island, she's never far . . . she's hunting lizards!
