Claudine Petunia Porkchop is my first dog! I fell in love with Corgis thanks to the interest of my boyfriend. We wanted a Corgi and a rescue dog, and when we came across Claudine online via petfinder, it was love at first sight. She has the head of an ACD and the body and personality of a Corgi. LITTLE LEGS RULE! :)
I am finishing up a doctoral degree in Public Health/Epidemiology and the student lifestyle gives me lots of time to spend with her - if you live in or around Boston, would love to meet up for a Corgi playdate!
About My Corgi(s):
I am half Corgi and half Australian cattledog. I am a 2 years old-ish and I'm told I "have a lot of personality!" That's a compliment, right? :P My true birthdate is unknown but my mom assigned July 4th since everyone at the shelter called me a "little firecracker."
I have a lot of Corgi traits, like my chicken-frog legs, affinity for belly rubs, thinking I am a lot bigger than I am and I also speak fluent Corgi (our favorite youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tvwqTfES3o). I also LOVE to herd things and my mom says I can go to herding school some day. I've been told I am "bossy." My vet says it's a Corgi thing? Harumph!
I was found walking the streets of Tennessee, and brought to a shelter where nobody came to claim me (can you believe it?!?!). I was one day away from being euthanized :'''(. Luckily somebody fostered me, and when I was advertised on a rescue dog website, my mom snatched me up and I was brought up North and raised as a Red Sox fan. love snow and city living, but am a country girl at heart.
I go to doggie school here (www.nedtc.org) which is a wonderful place run by the amazing Marjie who also gives me private tutoring to help my mom and I work together.
My nickname is "The Dean" since I live at a college with my mom who is a resident advisor and I am the boss, mascot, and best friend of all the college kids who live in our dorm.
who wouldn't laugh at those huge turkey thighs and big ears. Along with a couple of tricks and we've got them smilin!
I'm sure all the kids on campus love and adore your Claudine. I used to live in Framingham and worked in Natick many years ago. Loved the area, but I'm allergic to snow!!!! (Just kidding)
What great pics! Love the peanut butter and the snowman ones. Looks like she's found a very loving home and will provide you with many many years of laughs and her corgi half ........antics =)
