About Me:: Hello my name is Courtney Long, im 20 years old and was married to my wonderful husband May 30 of this year. A bundle of joy was brought to us on June 5....no not a baby.....but a Pembroke Corgi named Teryx....also known as Tater....I work at a small town restaurant callled jacks fine food in atlanta texas as manager and serve as a colorguard instructor at Redwater High School. I currently attend the local community college to earn my degree to teach elementary school...i have two cats and just my one dog

About My Corgi(s):: if teryx was a human he'd be the life of the party his personality is so big and is very spunky, hes extremley smart and knows exactly how to pull one over on you.....he is my first dog to have but already has exceeded my expectations. hes currently learning basic tricks and commands and hopefuly i can teach him how to run agility courses....hes kind loving and absoultely melts my heart every day....my husband works a lot so i have him as my protector.....he makes me smile everyday

Why do i have a corgi?

most people ask what kind of dog is that? what the heck is that little legged dog? and time after time i have to tell them a pembroke welsh corgi. after answering that question i have another question to answer. A what? what did you say that was? We live in Florida so all the fur isn't a good thing for him but I keep the house at a comfortable 70 F and 68 F at night. Your Teryx sounds like a real sweetheart!! You're exactly right they try to pull the wool over our eyes and it actually works sometimes!! LOL.. Kaleo makes me laugh too... he's such a stinker but so cute I could never get angry or upset at the things he does..
