I am a college student and just got my first corgi Rocky who is a black tri. I also have an Australian Shepherd Amos who is 2 years old. Along with my two dogs I ride and train quarter horses.
I have one black tri male corgi(Rocky) who is 9 weeks old :)
I have always liked corgi's but recently had gotten the opportunity to finally have one for myself. My best friend from college has a female who had a litter at the end of March of two females and one male. Everything seemed fine until they were wormed for the first time. The two females where fine but the male (Rocky) had problems going to the bathroom. It eventually ended up that he would need a costly surgery or have to be put down. Long short of the story he went through a successful surgery and is now mine! I don't know how you could say no to that cute little face!
I have had Rocky for two weeks today. It is amazing how fast time goes! He is already over 10 pounds and loving his new home. He went to the vet this past Monday just to make sure that everything is still fine from the little surgery he had to have and has a clean bill of heath. He gets along great with my bigger dog (Amos my 2 year old Aussie) and he loves to go to the barn with me every day when I go to ride. I must admit though he is a little on the spoiled side - he gets to sleep with me… Continue
omigosh is that a cute puppy. Rocky looks so much like Al, it's scary. Give him lots of time; he's gonna grow up fast and before you know it, POOF! Off to college.
That is one lovely little baby! I get to bring my little tri girl home on Monday and she'll be 9 weeks old. I will be intersted to see how things go for Rocky! How was the first night or two and did you keep him in your room with you?
