About Me:: I have loved Corgis ever since I was a young girl growing up on a dairy farm. My dad got me my first dog - a Corgi cross named Tinker. She was my best doggie friend for 12 wonderful years. And although I loved all the many German Shepherds that my parents owned over the years, I knew that one day I would have a Corgi again. Fast forward 36 yrs.
Married. No children. Finished my 30 year career in banking. Needed someone to love on while hubby's at work and so enter Bolte! We adopted him 3+ yrs ago and our lives have not been the same since.

About My Corgi(s):: Bolte the Super Dog!

Bolte was 15 months old when we adopted him. He came with a few issues which his previous parents did fill us in on. The worst being aggression towards other dogs. He also has many anxiety issues. We felt we were up for the challenge and challenging it has been. We have made some progress and he actually has a couple of doggie friends now... but it has been a long slow battle.
One of our greatest joys has been watching him flourish as we take him daily to my Mom's acerage where we go for walks, play with Sheeba (his German Shepherd friend) and this year we have even started herding/driving the cows - pure bliss for him! Did I mention he grew up in an apartment in the city and in the end was not being taken out for walks or potty due to his aggression problems? So sad. But he is a wonderful boy, a true clown and little furry blessing. We can't imagine life without him now.

Outside Tug Toy

I recently read a post about a tug toy that you set up outside on a flexible pole. Now I can't find the blog. Does anyone remember who posted that. Thinking of getting one for Bolte since his very favorite game is playing tug.
