- About Me:
- I'm a dog groomer and trainer from Central Florida. I got my first Pembroke after my (now ex) boyfriend hounded me nonstop about the breed. I knew barely anything about them, and he wanted one since he was 17. We were supposed to get married in October, so I decided to buy him a Pembroke puppy in July as an early wedding present. My fiance and I broke up shortly after I bought Harley. He couldn't afford to care for her, so I kept her.
Since the breakup, Harley has changed tremendously. When we were still living with my now ex fiance, she was very timid and not a normal happy Corgi. I think she felt the bad vibes. She is now a happy go-lucky Corgi just like she's supposed to be! She is currently enrolled at Petsmart in the Intermediate class, and is graduating soon. My ex taught her English, but it seemed like every time I did obedience training with her after we moved away from him, she acted scared like she didn't want to do the command in fear she would do something wrong. So I taught her in German, and she is fine now! She forgot English, and all the bad things my ex did when I wasn't around. She is doing wonderful in her classes and catches on so quickly, a lot faster than any other dog I have trained!
She is starting agility soon, which will be so much fun! She is so fast and agile. She uses her tail for balance and it seems like she uses it to help turn and run.
We live in Winter Park now with my current boyfriend who is nothing like my ex. Harley is even happier than she was before! She definitely misses the acre we lived on in Sanford, but she goes for walks now and we are even closer to Fleet Peeples dog park!

- I have a female Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Harley-Quinn. She is tan and white, and has her tail still. She was born May 15, 2011 and I bought her from a private breeder who raised the puppies in his house with his children, and only has 2 dogs (Harleys mom and dad), when she was 8 weeks old.
