Our first Corgi was a gift from my brother in 1999. My husband and I adopted another Corgi in 2003. And then we took in a rescue Corgi in September of last year. Nothing brings us as much pure joy and happiness as our beautiful little furry friends.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
My first little girl, Punkin, was a tri-color Pembroke Welsh Corgi. She died in July 2012, and we miss her terribly. Our first little boy, Corky, is a red and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He's 10 years old and has a unique talent--he detected my husband's melanoma before even the doctor could tell there was anything wrong. Our second little boy, Copper (Copy), is a slim, smooth, tri-color Welsh Pembroke Corgi. He was our rescue baby. He is scared of thunder and lightening, matches, and plastic grocery bags. But he's a lovey little cuddle boy and is faster than a bullet!
Welcome Helen, Corky and Copper! I'm sorry about Punkin. How did you know that Corky detected the melanoma? I've heard that dogs can do this but I don't know how they demonstrate it.
