I am a 27 first time dog owner (and lovin' it!) I'm married to a wonderful wife and we spend alot of time playing with the new pup. I am also a powerlifter and a car enthusiast. My friends make fun of me b/c I have such a small dog and I am such a big guy.
I enjoyed watching the video you sent me. Thanks.
Looked like they are kinda doing hide and seek:)
Bodhi is so energetic!
We are also thinking to get Aily a sister in Spring.
Thanks for sending me the link. I haven't heard of that breeder before but I enjoyed spending time reading her blog. It had some good information on there. Too bad her website isn't up, I'd love to see her other Cardis.
Hey, I just saw you commenting on Talula's page saying that you dog and her share a father. Well that makes our Oppy related to you as well (he's Talula's sister). We're in the Bensalem area, a couple miles north on 95 of Philly. If you ever want to meet up for a play date, I'm sure we can arrange something!
There was an annual Corgi picnic with the Philly Yahoo group in Coatesville a couple weeks ago (you have to go to the actual yahoo group to join). They have the picnic once a year to benefit Corgi Aid. I don't know of any more events, but will keep you posted!
James, We go to Girard Veterinary Clinic. After she's spayed we might try someone else only because she doesn't seem to have much experience with Corgis. The first time we took her in she kept asking us why we wanted to get a corgi and kept emphasizing how much exercise they need (and why didn't we rescue a dog??) Luckily we were prepared for the answer-- wanting a corgi for all the reasons they are so great. I don't think she's used to very many clients who actually take care of their dogs properly, so she errs on the most practical side. She also told us her ears wouldn't pop until 16 months old--- and after reading on this site we know it happens WAY earlier. In fact, her 2nd ear popped up yesterday-- she looks like a whole new dog.
Oh and her parents are Jackson (High Voltage) and Bella-- so they have the same sire. (He must've been a busy dog!)
