"Is this your first Corgi? I ask because Corgis are barkers, only the rare one is not. Shedding, herding and barking are part of the package. For the most part, you hope to train the pooch early in life to respond to the quiet…"
"I was looking for a rescue last year and came across a web site called rescueme.org. Google them - you can search by breed - and choose what states you are willing to travel to. A lot of the dogs are mixed breeds - but they do have pure…"

My first, Courtney, was a beautiful male that I raised from age 10 weeks. We lost him to DM when he was 13.5. My second was an amazing rescue, Thumper. He was a good sweet boy that someone dumped at a kill shelter at age 10. He died three years later after a 2 year battle with a brain tumor but had a great last three years of his life. Our latest pup, Katie (now known as Princess Kate)has been with us since she was 14 weeks and is now 5 months old. And of course as spoiled as the last two.
