Today is Sheamus's 1st Birthday. Yay!

It's amazing how fast he's grown and how long it has been since I last updated here. Well I can report that Sheamus has since become house trained and overcome his separation anxiety. He went through puppy school as well as obedience training, travelled with us interstate, went swimming for the first time (but didn't quite like it :-p) and became an older brother to two new shih tzu cross puppies.

Since the last post a lot has been going on. In the last 3 weeks Sheamus had been experiencing repeated bouts of diarrhoea but it seems his stools are finally returning to normal. To manage it we put him on a chicken and rice diet as well as given antibiotics as per the vets advice. We also gradually changed brands of dog food which has significantly made a better difference.

G'day everyone. I guess I'd like to take the opportunity to report on how our lil Sheamus is doing. As Sheamus is not yet fully vaccinated (due for his 3rd one in early July) he has been kept indoors which leaves us with the following key areas we have been working on:

• Potty training
• Exercise/activity
• Biting/nipping behaviour
• Separation anxiety
