"You wouldn't really be able to tell he has the clicking, because he doesn't show any signs of pain or discomfort. He plays, runs around, acts totally normal. So we will schedule an appointment to see his vet and then go from there. Thank…"

Hip clicking for a seven month old?

Our seven month old has some clicking in his hips. You can't hear it, but if he moves a certain way then you can feel it on his back legs, near where his back and hips connect. I think it's happening on both sides too. I'm wondering if this is something to be concerned about since he is so young. I know that Corgi's are prone to hip dysplasia, but I don't know a whole lot about hip dysplasia and I'm not sure if he's too young to have it or what's going on. My name is Jess, my husbands name is Jonathan. This is our first time raising a dog together. I've grown up around dogs, while he only had one dog growing up. We are recently married, and looking forward to what the future has in-store for us!

Leonidas is now almost five months old and what a five months it has been! He's gone from sleeping more then any other animal I know, to being a ball of energy. This is our (me and my fiance)time raising a puppy, and it has proven to be a true joy. Leonidas LOVES people! He is also a attention getter. Everywhere we go with him we get stopped so that people can pet him. Leo loves going on walks and playing with our cat, although she still isn't a huge fan of him yet. Leo is such a smart and sweet boy, we couldn't be any happier with him.

Welcome Jess, Jonathan and Leo! Looking forward to puppy pics. Oh we live near your hometown! If you ever bring Leo back to Oceanside we can arrange  a corgi walk at the harbor (we go about once a month with a small group of North County corgis).
