I can't seem to get my corgi to stop nipping at my hands when we play together.  He doesn't ever bite hard, but I worry that one day he might get carried away or maybe nip at a child or something.  I normally say, "NO BITE" pretty sternly which makes him stop but it's like a rule he can't manage to learn!  We've tried a spray bottle too.  He's got a great temperament....I guess everyone's got flaws, right?

When I need a break from the computer I will run up and down the hall, with Snickers nipping at my jeans- very cute. She nips Jack when we play fetch, sometimes so hard he yelps. A spray bottle has helped a lot (at home, not at the beach LOL), but it is time out if she gets too excited.

Solomon only nipps with his little front teeth and only when he wants attention.  When he is getting his lovin and you are through, he is not and wants more.  He will nipp very lightly on the forearm.  However, I call him "Gator"  When we play you can hear his teeth clicking together trying to get you!!!!!

I think I have found a solution! Water gun! Petey absolutely HATES getting sprayed. Stopped him immediately! The only thing is, I have to stand outside in the heat, catch him in the act and somehow keep him from seeing that I am the one spraying him.

Pearl is a happy nipper though we are not such happy nipees! She is so cute and we are torn between cuteness and not wanting her to rule the roost. There is no safe walking when she is all over excited, then its time for a time out.

Petey is driving me crazy! He is nine months old now and pretty much stopping nipping at me after ALOT of work. He still nips at my boyfriends calves occasionally. Not as bad as before. He now he nips by grabbing onto my 4 mo. old, 6 lb puppy's collar with his teeth. He manages to get a chunk of skin most of the time and she screeches loudly. Of course he doesn't let go because this seems to be fun to him. He also started doing this with my 26 lb. dog but of course she can get away from him.

When me and Trooper play rough he jumps up and nips and the bottom of my shorts, my shirt and even my arm some times. But, he does know its only ok when we are being rowdy together

hanna used to nip so bad that my calves have perminate scares on them!
Crystin 8 months old nipped me so bad in the nose that it bled for an hour, I don't know if the nipping got any better, but I sure don't stick my nose any where near her!
