- Female, grown children, recently purchased a house. I work part time for a vet and love animals of all kind. I am also mom to 12 lovely hens and 2 house bunnies (my third and dearest special needs bunny passed away 2 months ago) Now I am also a happy corgi owner after many years of wanting one.

Looking for Corgi owners in Hudson valley area

I know there was a group for this but even though I joined there has not been any activity in a year. Are any of you members in the Hudson Valley, Dutchess County or Ulster, Orange County NY? Sure would be nice for Pearl to have some playmates!

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
Can someone tell me what things I should be asking a breeder in my search for a Corgi puppy? I know they can be prone to hip displaygia as well as Von Wildebrands disease and there should be a vet check, as well as a health guarantee? I was contacted by a breeder in Loudon NH. Has anyone gotten a dog from here? I know parents should be on premise as well? I work for a vet and know how many things that can be a problem that people do not expect. Thanks… Continue
