I have always loved corgis ever since I read the books by Rita Mae Brown and Emily Carmichael. About ten years ago now. Would love to own a corgi or a border collie/corgi mix. If there are any breeders or corgis up for adoption in northern colorado I would love to look into them. And maybe just maybe one I will own a corgi :)

Hi Julie! Wow you're the first to mention Rita Mae Brown & Emily. Two of my favorite authors! I think I have all the books they have both written! I wish you all the best luck in finding your own awesome Corgi! There's truly nothing like Corgi Life! All the best Lori, Callie & Cooper
Thanks for the book titles. Did you like all of them? I find sometimes that my favorite authors, ones I wait anxiously for their next book don't hold the standards of their earlier ones. I think that happened to me with Rita Mae Brown. I loved her early books, but there were a couple that didn't match up and I stopped buying her books. Of course, if I knew there was a CORGI I would have bought them all, especially if she captures the unique personality of a Corgi, like only a Corgi owner/writer could!
PS
I read a few of Rita Mae Brown books early in her career, incl. Rubyfruit Jungle, which I loved and some others, but I didn't read any with a corgi in it. Do you remember the names of her books with Corgis?
Hey Julie,
I got both my corgis in CA. Lucy was from a breeder in Oakland, and Rafa was a resold corgi that we bought from a teenage boy who lived near us and wasn't up for the responsibility of raising a puppy––nor were the boy's parents. Sorry for the confusion. I don't know any breeders in CO but I'm sure you could google Corgi rescues or contact the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Colorado.
I hope you get your corgi. I can't imagine a better breed! They make you laugh even when they're not trying. They are born comedians!
Hi Julie. I'd be happy to be your friend. I wish you luck in your search for a Corgi. Having had Corgis my whole life I can attest to the joy of being owned by them! We have a 4 yo red & white, Lucy, and just a few weeks ago re-homed, I guess that's what it's called, a 4mo old tri-boy.
Hello Julie...I just sent you an email with a bunch of good reputable contacts along w/2 corgis, females, needing a home. I also sent your email to the rescuer of these dogs as well. If you need further assistance just let me know by contacting me through my personal email acct. I don't get to emails on here often. Thanks and good luck.
I know 2 excellently bred litters due to be born in CO...they are PWCCR members and dogs fully tested with excellent pedigrees. The one that is due is a full sister to my Sian. Email my personal acct off my site and I can send you contact information if you'd like. Both of these ladies are very nice.
