- My husband and I live in San Antonio,Tx and are avid lovers of the Corgi breed. We currently have one Pembroke Welsh Corgi that is our own, however we had one that passed away in December 2012. It was a trying experience and after we mourned the loss of someone who had become family to us, we decided that we couldn't live without the energy and happiness a Corgi brings to our home.

- Our new little guy is named Jase, but we call him JJ as a nickname. He is turning out to be a wonderful, energetic, ball of fun. We are in anticipation of all of the fun/frustration that lies ahead in training him and having him become a member of the family.

Puppy/Rabbit relations

So last night at about 1am my husband and I took our rabbit, Gregory to the animal hospital because we were worried about him given that he hadn't eaten any of his hay or veggies. We even gave him a strawberry (his favorite) and he refused it. He had been this way for several hours and his temperature was off as well. First I'd like to say hello; I was a member of MyCorgi in the past when we got our first little girl, Domino. We had her for 5 years and she was awesome. She was so fun and energetic and she was always a happy puppy. Unfortunately she passed away last December and we mourned her absence profoundly. We still miss her, and we know she can never be replaced, but the house had grown too quiet and we knew the love of a Corgi is what we needed.

Welcome! I am new also, our puppy is 4 months old. I am sorry about your loss, I am all to familiar with your situation. We lost our 13 year old corgi (Bailie) in April to lymphoma and then in January we lost our 13 year old golden (Tucker) to spleen cancer, it's very hard.
Welcome Krista and JJ! I'm sorry for your loss; I know what you mean about them becoming family.
