"Well, my Corgi boy when I got him (7mths)was a bit out of hand. OBEDIENCE CLASSES work wonders. I think you bond with the dog. And low and behold he starts to mind you. Corgis are VERY intelligent dogs. Good Luck."
"You could contact www.winterflowerfarm.com Cheryl McKinney. I have one of her dogs and he is the nicest, smartest guy around. He is a red and white. He just got his Novice Rally Title. Nice lady and nice dogs. Good luck with your quest."
"I went to a couple of dog shows and started asking questions, and yes the people at shows think that is "creepy" they act like you are going to "kidnap" one of there dogs or something. Some are not too friendly. I…"
"I'm sorry. If you find a reputable breeder(ask questions find references, etc.) you can find a breeder who has taken care to breed quality dogs. Of course there are NO guarantees in LIFE. But, usually if you find a breeder who…"
"Personally and what I did is go to AKC(website) and you can find a local Corgi organization and then from there you can find a reputable breeder. That is the best way. You certainly don't want to get caught up in the "puppy…"
"Well, all you Oregon Corgi people that missed the Walk in the Pearl, missed a GREAT!!! time. I had so much fun looking at all the beeeeeeeeeeeutiful Corgis of all shapes, sizes, colors and just having fun. My husband did comment that there…"
"Yes, my husband, Riley(Corgi)and his older sister(Maggie the beautiful mutt) will be joining the walk. We are looking forward to our outing in the Portland area and also meeting up with friends:) See you there."
"OK, I know I posted a comment and nothing happened. What I want to know is when all the "Corgi Walk" thing got posted we all were talking about meeting, welllllllllllllll?????? Is there going to be a place for us to all meet? I would sure…"
I hope you drive up for the Walk in the Pearl. It would be great to meet you and your adorable Corgi. We are also doing a raffle at the event and there are some wonderful doggy items that have been donated by local pet businesses. it is going to be a fun morning, especially seeing all the Corgi wearing matching scarves parading around the Pearl. Lots of wonderful corgi owners, too! Lynde
I love Riley with the cat! At our house, it is the cat who comes up to Sonny and nuzzles his ear, almost like a French kiss, then curls up with him...go figure. I guess we live "just up the road" from you, if you can call the Bend area ( we are at Crooked River Ranch) just up the road! We'll have to plan a play date! I will look to meet up with you at the walk if we make it.
