About My Corgi(s):: Our Corgi is named Kaleb ( we didn't name him) he is a rescue from a local animal shelter. He is about 13 years old. So he is considered a "senior" citizen now.
I don't know the difference between Pembroke and Welsh corgi's, so I'm not sure which he is. He's short, fat and not fluffy. He does shed a lot though, lol. He's got a long tail which knocks things over. He loves walks and chewing on things he shouldn't!

At 12:58am on June 13, 2011, Geri & Sidney said…: Welcome Michelle and Kaleb! Basically the two corgi breeds are Pembroke Welsh Corgis and Cardigan Welsh Corgis. Pembrokes are the ones where they dock the tails a few days after birth, and Cardis have the tails kept on. Cardis are a little bigger, ears are a little rounder, and the coat colors are different. However, some breeders leave the tails on the Pembrokes (my SIdney kept his tail). You would need to post more pics of Kaleb so we can help you...but from the one pic he looks like a Pembroke.

Natalie has a pembroke and a cardigan, so if you look at her pics you can see the difference. Lance (the blue merle) is the cardigan and Tucker (the red and white) is the pembroke :)
