We adopted Murray have had Murray for about a month and a half. We have been very patient with him during the transition. The issues he picked up from his previous owners are not all that bad and are not slowing him down other than playing. He's pretty settled into his new life and surroundings now. Murray is really smart both in the good way and the trouble making way.
Murray is getting better with the playing all the time. A couple of times he has ran over and tossed the tennis ball up in the air without my wife and I encouraging him to play.
All our "kids" are rescues of one form or another except for Maddie. We bought her from a lady who needed to find a good home for her. With a 2-y/o toddler and her sister with terminal cancer she didn't feel that she could give the time and attention that Maddie deserved. Maddie has been one of the best investments and decisions we've made. She has told our Moira how to play and overall has been great for the whole family.
