Congratulations on your accomplishments. My oldest Corgi helped us notice that my daughter was very sick one night. She just sat on the edge of the bed staring at her and then would jump down to walk all around her sniffing her face and just sit there for a minute. She'd then jump back on the bed but continued to stare to then jump down again and it was getting more progressive w/her licking her face and not settling in for the night so I told my husband something is wrong since Rhiannon will not settle and is showing signs of concern over my daughter. Here she was burning up with a temp. of 104 and wasn't breathing right. She ended up staying at the hospital for a few days but all is well now. Its amazing if your really qued into your dogs how they will tell you things.
On another occasion a few of the dogs acted really weird and anxious. I couldn't figure out what there problem was but later learned on the news that we had an earthquake and that had to be what they were so anxious over. I was worried maybe a bad storm was heading our way so was watching the weather closely but in some ways I guess it was the weather.
I'm not sure I remember a Bay Ridge High! What street was that on? I went to Fort Hamilton H.S. - I graduated in 1978. I took my oldest daughter back with me to Bay Ridge last year to show her around NYC. I was able to take her back and into the house I grew up in! That was weird! We stayed for the St. Patricks Day Parade!!! We had a BLAST!! NYC is not like it was in the late '70's early 80's.
