My niece bought a condo near, or in the meatpacking district, & around the block from a project. I think she lives between 10th & 11th on 18th St. Her sister lives on Greenwich St bet. Charles and Perry. Are you near them? It's a fabulous area. My husband & I lived on West End and 74th and it's so crazy that 30 yrs later my dgt is in school and living on west end and 84th. Way downtown is the place to live now, but my dgt goes to school way uptown, almost in the bronx. Have you always lived in NYC? Did you go to public school in NY and always live way downtown? I remember taking my Corgi to a grassy area off the west side hwy. my husband, maybe not yet at that time, and I had the biggest fights bec. he'd let Gorki off leash, and Gorki was a monster with other dogs. Oh the memories that this site set off in my brain. All good! All Corgi!
