About Me:: My name is Rosi and I love all animals---especially Corgis! I'll update this later.

About My Corgi(s):: I have one Corgi and her name is Mommy and she is named in honor of my mom who passed away 1/11/11. Before my mom died, I had a conversation with her that went something like this..."OMG...I am going to miss you. What am I going to do without you? I know, I'm going to get a little dog and name it Mom that way I can say, 'Come on Mom, let's go for a walk' or 'I love you, Mom' and my mom LOVED the idea. One day I saw a video of a bunch of Corgi puppies running and KNEW that would be the perfect dog for me, because my own mom was short, chubby and adorable. I searched and found my little girl, Mommy! She is the first Corgi I've ever had and I can't imagine my life without her. She is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day! She has the sweetest smile ever and she is the best buddy a person could have.

I just checked out Bear Dog Park in Roseville this morning and it was nice and grassy. There was a smaller unpublicized corgi meet-up there yesterday (we didn't get to go...) and I think the park has potential for bigger ones!

With my group (Love on a Leash) the dogs had to go through basic and immediate training, and then pass the Canine Good Citizen test. They it was a 6-week therapy dog training class, then 10 supervised visits.
