So we got Sadie's test run again and one of her enzymes was back in the normal range and the other had come down but was still a little high. So we are going to keep her on the liver supplement for one month because they think once her system is flushed the other will go back down too. But in just 2 weeks of taking her off of the grain free food she is already doing better. So for us anyway we won't be using grain free food anymore. So today Sadie went for her bi-annual comprehensive exam, and her blood work came back with elevated liver enzymes. The vet said they weren't elevated that high but put her on a liver supplement and antibiotic, and said we will recheck it in 2 weeks. I also told him that she has been on a grain free food (taste of the wild) for almost 2 months. Before that she was eating Wellness. He said to stop grain free, that he only reccommends it for dogs who have grain allergies. I know alot of ppl here… Continue

So Sadie loved her Birthday Cake. She basically never gets "people food" sometimes I will giver her a bite of apple or carrot or something, but that is on rare occasion (she is small so I am afraid she will get overweight really easy). I was scared to just let her gobble the whole thing up, so I let her eat about 1/4 of it and then put it up and was just gonna give her chunks throughout the day.
