Oh no! I am familiar with Megaesophogus and I know that many people who find out their dog has it decide that they can't deal with it. =/ I would take the little guy, but I am in the process of moving and the timing is awful.
Of course, I would take every dog in need if I had the money/time/space to do so. I hope he finds a home. I think it's awful that they would put him down because of this.

Sarah, please post this again as a forum if it falls off the blog block.  I know there are a lot of people involved in rescue that visit the site.  This might give them a chance to see this fellow and help him out.  I wish I knew more.  Thanks for posting!
