About Me:
Mom to two wonderful daughters. My oldest is a first year intern in N.J. My youngest is a senior at UCF in Orlando. My husband, Mark, and I are both crazy about corgis and if we could have a whole herd, we would. I love the family, the outdoors, gardening, hiking, anything outdoors is fine with me. I love to read mysteries and suspense books and a good ghost story once in a while is great. I also like to bake and sew quilts.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
We have three corgis. A red-headed tri male, 10 years old named Charlie and a red female, 1 year old, named Maggie, and Rachel, age 8. Quigley and Daisy were our first corgis. Quig and Daisy are corgi angels. Still miss both of them.
I have:
Pembroke

I'm REALLY enjoying Cody. I do believe he's the smartest dog I've ever had! I'm sure some day we will get another Corgi...maybe a little sister. This is my husband's first "inside" dog, so I don't want to overwhelm him...lol.

Thanks, Sharon, we will see you there as soon as the vaccinations are complete! Teggie cannot wait to be around his Corgi friends. Other dogs are OK, but most of them just don't act like Corgis. :)
Warmly,
Christiane

Yes, I know what you mean about "older folk" and new kids. Emily was a "mom" to Skeezix when he came at 10 weeks 2 years ago and pretty much for the rest of her life--she died this January having just turned 9 yrs. I know that all of my dogs grieved when one of the cats or dogs went to the Rainbow Bridge. Skeezix was full of energy and it helped E to get more zippy. I'm not sure how Skeezix will feel when I eventually bring another puppy into our family. Emily was fine as an only child after her older pals Hugo and Mr. Monty died. But she liked life more with Skeez in it w/ her. This is the very first time Skeezix has ever been a singleton--He is enjoying the perks of having Momma all to himself, but I think he will be happy to have a little brother or sister to raise.

Thanks, Sharon. I think your 2 furkids are sweet--How does Charlie like having a little sister frapping all over the place?? My Angel Emily was 7 when Skeezix came to be with us at 10 weeks--Emily broke him in pretty well . . . but he did try her patience, as you can see in some of the pictures. We'll be eager to see your photos when you get them posted. Oh, and welcome, too!!!
