I also give my dogs cut-up marrow bones (raw only!) from the butcher. After they have cleaned out all the marrow, I refill the hollow bones with peanut butter or baby food and refreeze.
Welcome! To answer your questions, I believe that you can give as many chew toys as you want. Just keep an eye out for any chunks she may tear out of the toy. I like using antler chews since they have no odor, no mess, all natural, and last a REALLY long time (2 years and going). If you start a discussion on the forums, more people will be able to view and answer your questions. :)

Thanks for all the advice and I think I'll try the antler chews see what happens.

Welcome Susan! Yes, AJ gave you great advice! I also was going to suggest antler chews, they don't make a mess, don't splinter and last a long time!
