My boyfriend and I are 30 & 40 somethings without children - until now. He works for Albany Medical Center and I am with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. I moved to NY from California four years ago.
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Katie is my first pet and corgi. We picked her up on April 12, 2008 in Nashua, NH from the Mayflower Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club rescue program. She is perfect (just ask her). She came from a rural environment so the city has been fun. She does not bark outside the house, does not growl and loves to play with other dogs and adults. She loses her mind for green beans, asparagus and air popped popcorn.
Chip is her new brother. He is a three year old tri from the Little Legs Rescue program in CT. Chip lived with a Mennonite family in PA and they gave him up. He is a perfect big brother and had adopted her palate. He also eats sticks.
Hi Katie! Chauncey, Jon, and I are planning on going to the Troy market tomorrow morning (I'm shooting for 10 but that will depend on Jon). We are also planning on taking Jon's parents to yappy hour on Sunday. Hopefully, Chauncey and Katie can have some more Corgi time!
Hi Katie & Chip, Great slide show! I have a yr old redheaded tri female corgi named Ivy that I need to place in a new home. She is spayed, a love with all people and super energetic. She s challenging with other dogs but loves cats. Any ideas or advice? Please let me know. It is an urgent situation.
Hi there! Sorry to not have been keeping up with this page. Yes - we do live in the Albany area (off exit 8 on 90). I see you live in Troy. We should all meet up sometime!
Love your girl! Katie is an adorable Tri...looks alot like my Pip! They are the greatest breed...so human-like and inteligent. Welcome from Southwest Florida (but born & raised in western NY!) Nancy & Pippin
I'm so surprised to find you guys on here! I remember seeing Katie posted on the Mayflower site --our corgi was a Mayflower rescue too. Hope all is well and you are enjoying the fall over in Troy!
We are close to the shopping as well. We are closer to Shen School (they are in our backyard) right off 146. Were you in the newer or older section of Hollandale? Those are nice places.
