This is not a very "nice" subject, but has anyone ever had a Corgi with a Perianal Fistula? My vet and I just discovered that mine has 2. My vet sees them all the time in Gernam Shepherds and several other breeds. When I had Gernam Shepheds and was showing them, I had several that had them over the course of time. My vet has been practicing for 30 years and is a "wonderful" diagnostician.
Yes, Chloe has a tail, and as soon as I get paid, she has top priority to going to the vet. She seems to not have had any trouble the last 2 weeks, but that isn't going to stop me. I know that it's just a matter of time before it starts again. At least now, I know to ask my vet if this is what it is. I love this vet office, but I'm never sure which vet will be looking at my dogs.
