Time & Love change everything!!!

I don't know how many of you remember that I rescued two Corgis on Mothers Day 2011...I was losing my Emma Anne to DM and was heart broken and God answered with showing me this Corgi rescue here in VA close by.  Katie (her name before was K9!!!) had been attacked by a large animal and almost died from infection/maggots since her former owner did not take he to the Vet til the last moment...her son Jack…

Good Bye my sweet Emma Anne

I realized today as I answered a discussion I have not updated you on what has happened here at the farm.  Two weeks ago we said goodbye to my sweet love, Emma Anne.  She turned 10 in March and was fighting thru DM.  About May she was only able to "seal walk" around the house and used her wheel-cart outside.  At first she would zip along to the barn, then she took to just barking from the front door of…

And then there were 3 - CORGIS Update!

Just a quick update to let you know how Katie and Jack, my rescues, are coming along.  Jack, the 2 year old tri son, is just "Happy Jack"...he is a clown and runs and plays and is completely house broken now.  He has attached him self to me and is coming along great with hubby, grandma, son, etc.  I actually love his long tail and it helps me find him if he is in the garden!…

OK, its been 72 hours since the "rescue"...if you read my first blog, I took them to my vet and they were unbelieveabley fine, only hookworms for Jack, no Lymes, heartworm etc.  Whew breathed a sigh of relief...

And now there are 3 - CORGIS!

Just rescued/adopted 2 wonderful pembrokes - the momma is turning 4 and has some serious lower back/rump injuries...the previous owner did finally take her to a vet and they removed lots of dead skin due to infection and maggots (YUCK)...my vet is now doing cold lazer therapy and I swear after 1 treatment her skin/sores look so much better.  I am to do water therapy at home with flushes of warm water 5…
