Had a great time at the Iowa Corgi Frap Party at Foggy Bottom on Saturday. Drake and Frosty very much enjoyed having some friends to play with. I have posted pictures on Facebook if anyone is interested in seeing them :)

Breeder has another litter, so we are hoping for a puppy again! This time it is Am Can CH Kingsbury Tail Ridge Road (Jake) x Am Aus CH Cambrian My Way (Casey). So they are out of my all time favorite corgi Harry P's grandson x an aussie import. Just keeping my fingers crossed that one of the boys turns out to be a show prospect for me! This picture shows the two girls on the left and the two boys on the right, just over two weeks old.…

One of my cats developed a hematoma in her ear from scratching (she had a yeast infection in her ears caused by her allergies)
Vet said they were going to drain, stitch and button it...

You know what time it is... its calendar time and we have entered Frosty in another photo contest lol! Voting runs from now until Sept. 14th. You can vote from your computer IP every 24 hours. The great thing about this contest is that you can vote for as many photos as you like!
Frosty is currently in the "Adult Large Breed (over 30 lbs)" group - cause he's a huge 40 lb chunky pants lol - but there are a number of other corgis entered in the "Adult Small Breed (under 30…

We are going over today to pick up "Lucky" and then transport him to a MN rescue organization this weekend. Lucky is a 2-3 year old unaltered male tri. His owner was a 60-some year old lady running a dog rescue out of her farm for the past 20 years. Unfortunately, the animal rescue guy said she is losing her farm so she had to give up all of her dogs :( He said they are all in great shape and were well taken care of. Guess she had 24 outside (including Lucky) and another 14 in the…

My totally awesome husband hung up the special "eggs for sale" sign I had made. He even rigged it so I can slide it out if we run out of eggs. One of my friends commented to me "so do you have green eggs and ham?", to which my reply was "as you can see, I have green eggs and my dog is obviously the ham" lol!!

Brought home Wylie this morning. He was scheduled to be put down by the local police department, but I was able to go get him. Tomorrow we will be driving him up to Clear Lake where he will be picked up and taken to his new foster family. He has been an awesome little guy so far. No aggression whatsoever, having great fun playing with Frosty. Happiest little dude I think I have ever seen!
