9 days!!

That time of season is here again, and may I say that here in Iowa, we are CRAZY for our Hawkeyes! This year we are totally ready...as you can see, we have some of our team in tip-top shape and ready to play! Seanna is our linebacker, and Jackson our quarterback.

Seanna is estatic!!--Alas, it was not meant to be...:-(

I am absolutely on cloud nine. My husband and I have wanted to find a house on some acreage for years. Unfortunately, we can only be 10 miles from our city due to my husband's work requirements (he's a fireman). Periodically we go driving around in the country just looking to see if there are any good deals....

Jackson's Home!!--Update...

We just got home with Jackson, and WOW...things are going GREAT!! He did absolutely awesome on the way home, slept probably half of the time and destroyed his purple dinosaur that Jane gave him for the ride home the rest of the time. We stopped to potty, but I think he was too scared to do anything. Seanna and Sage have welcomed him into the pack without any grumpiness at all--although I think at times he's still a little overwhelmed with Sage's…

Seanna has Corneal Dystrophy now....

Seanna had to go to her annual check up today. She passed with flying colors, except for her eyes. I mentioned that for awhile now, every once and awhile, you can see a sort of haze on her right eye--it's not deep enough to be a cataract. Sometimes you can see it straight on really well, other times you have to look really hard to see it. Today you can just look and see it. So she has it in both eyes, the right more than left, but it's there. He said there's nothing we can do to fix it, it's…
