Ella's got her first trip to a groomers tomorrow.  I usually just bath her myself, but our new town has so many choices for groomers that I thought I'd give it a try.  A local pet store (that I love) has a separate small pet salon w/ just one groomer and a helper.  It's by appointment only and I loved that her first questions were "what's your dog's name" "what breed of dog is she". Then once she had the type of dog, then she could schedule for the time she would need for Ella.

Ella has been getting nice long walks in her new town. Today we took her to downtown Salem and got lots of comments about the "adorable dog". lol

Well it's official, we are moving from rural michigan to Peabody, MA next week. Hubby is already out in MA saying w/ family, and my in-laws are driving me and the kids out starting our adventure on the 14th.
Ella's awesome on car rides, so it should be fine. It's just going to be interesting getting her used to "big city" life.

Ella went to the beach today for the very first time. We live about an hours drive from Lake Michigan, so we went to the sand today. She loved playing in the sand, digging, and she even got in the water for a minute. I know now how cute a corgi is when they dig, and that her butt and nose are the only parts that float.
