Hi guys. I need some advice...

Daisy has been heaving at 4 a.m. every morning for the last 2 weeks. We went to the vet who said that sometimes puppies can get an upset stomach from being in the crate...I had just changed the food at the time, so we thought maybe it was just upsetting her. We have changed foods (Beneful to Iams), but she is still doing it!

Daisy goes to bed at 10:30, and we get up at 7. Sometimes she doesn't heave up anything; other times she hacks up puppy hair, etc. (whatever she ate during the day that I didn't see). There is usually never a liquid, but this morning there was...

Please help! I am getting no sleep because I am too afraid that my pup is choking or something. Has anyone had any problems with this. She doesn't do it during the day--She takes 2 hour naps in her crate 3 times a day also. No problems at all.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Amy and Daisy

Gosh, it could be a myriad of things. Did the vet test the vomit to see if there was anything suspicious in it? And it's always around 4am? Does Daisy maybe have to go potty and holding it is making her ill? Prayers are with you that you find out what this is. Maybe a second vet opinion? Good luck
