Corgi Breeders near NH (MA, ME, VT)?

Thank you again to everyone with their support. It has been tremendously helpful during this heart-wrenching time. I am starting to get over the guilt, but am missing my little friend and the times we would spend together. I would like to find some breeders so that I may be able to share my love with another little corgi. I know she won't replace Corky and I wouldn't want her to, but I love taking care and being with them. I would give another the best home possible and all the love in the world.

Please, if anyone can help let me know.

Thank you to everyone again...it has been a source of comfort for me.

Glad to see you are doing better.

The Mayflower Corgi is a good place to start.

Options....

- Contact Breeders - Check to see if they have a dog they need to place. Reputable breeds will take dogs back in the event there is a problem. June/Jane from Coastal Corgi's got Dutchess that way.
- Consider a Rescue. Check petfinder.com and check out what is out there. That is how we found Fergie. There are a number of purebreds (though not that many in the Northeast) There are Transport groups that bring dogs from the Midwest/South up here. They brought Fergie up here. There are plenty of cute mixes too...

I'll check with Linda to see if we still have a list of Breeder in MH/Maine.

I agree with Jenny. I am glad you are wanting another corgi- you are a wonderful loving owner, it seems, and a new baby Corgi would be so lucky to have you.

Heather,

So glad you're feeling somewhat better. Corky will always be with you and I'm sure that she will help guide you in choosing your next pup.

I've included a link to the Mayflower regional group of the PWCCA. Luckily, there are many breeders listed. Perhaps you could go to an event in your area and maybe even see some litters. Sometimes breeders will bring a litter to the show.
