Dudley had his busiest weekend ever since his surgery. This past weekend he attended the Kansas City Marathon and helped me with course control, went shopping at the Three Dog Bakery and made friends with two Great Danes, played with Taffy, went on a walk with one of our neighbors, made his first trip to the Bark Park (where he made many more new friends), and did more romping and playing. He did all of this and ended the weekend with only a slight limp. Hurrah! That was an action packed weekend and only a slight limp? I'm thinking he's well down the recovery road! Yippee! He'll be back herding before we know it.

Sorry, for some reason I'm not getting e-mails when people put comments on my blog entries. I must have accidently changed some setting. We didn't actually DO the marathon, we volunteered at the maraton. Dudley sat in his chair and watched the runners go by while I made sure cars didn't run over the runners.

Glad to hear Dudley's rehab is going well. I need to try to build Zed up to something like that. We're still working with him after the heart worm treatments. He mostly plays in shortish (20 -25 min) bursts throughout the day.

YAY! Glad to hear that! Thanks for the update! Did y'all complete the whole marathon? I've always wondered how a corgi would do on a marathon walk.
