This may sound really weird, but Mei is extremely scared of farting noises. It's become a joke in my family to make farting noises just to see her reaction. She starts off with a circle spin and then walks briskly to a corner. It could just be another Mei thing.

Haha, my boyfriend always farts so I think Kassie's pretty use to it. She kind of just tilts her head and looks at us like "Come on guys". But I think it's interesting to find out that Corgi's are really noise reactive. I know that Kassie HATES if I make a bzzz sound. I did it one day and she flipped out and ran to the corner. She wouldn't come around me all day.

Tank has the "silent but deadlies." When we pass gas, he just lays there. When he does, he just lays there. But, good heavens! It makes you run around looking for a gas mask! There's a literal "green fog" in the air!!

I knew a pomy that was like that! Someone would let one rip and he'd bark his head off. It's like 'what was that noise? WOOF!' The best part about it was when he'd fart, he would do the exact same thing. We have to tell him "that was YOU, you idiot."

Mia is scared of farting noises too. It was funny at first, but I totally agree with Sam. Mia is very unpredictable when this happens. She gets defensive and sometimes trys to take a snip. Best advice, try to make it silent :) !!!

While you may find this humorous you may find down the road it is not so funny. It is not uncommon for corgis to be "noise reactive" While this one action may cause amusement you may find in time she begins reacting to other noises such as the phone, can opener, vacuum, timer, mixer, microwave, etc. I share this info as I can tell you we do receive many corgis in rescue that have this problem and it can be difficult to retrain the ingrained behaviors. When dogs are noise reactive they hit a high excitement very quickly. Dogs in a highly excited state can be unpredictible. Many negative behaviors begin this way. Enjoy your fun but remember that you must always have the ability to start and stop a behavior.
