Ryan and I have talked about this subject off and on throughout the past few weeks. Seeing as how I own three cats, catnip is always an item we have in the house. After seeing my cats get "high," Ryan wondered if there was an herb that does the same thing for dogs. I told him that there probably was. After all cinnamon is catnip for tigers.

Our curiosity is constantly piqued by this thought. It's such a strange question that I want to ask it here. Have any of you ever wondered about doggie catnip? Does anyone know of an herb that triggers the same reaction in dogs as catnip does for cats? Got any websites, or research on the subject?

There is a supposedly harmless (though it has trace amounts of toxicity) herb called "Stinking Goose Foot" but I wouldnt recomment you bring it indoors. It's also known as "Dognip".
