I have a 5 1/2 month old Corgi named Chipper. He's the best!!! (which I'm sure everyone says about their corgi - haha). However, he sheds a LOT. He eats high-end puppy food (Eukenuba lamb & rice) and we brush him pretty frequently. It's usually his hind end and tail that shed the most but he's pretty sensitive - as in you can brush him for a few minutes with the wire brush but then he hates it. Any suggestions how to keep the shedding to a minimum?

We were having the same problem. Corgi's are shedders. Our little 10 mo. old, Max, was not too fond of the butt brushing either. We used the furmerator which removes the fine undercoat. It doesn't stop it all together but you will be amazed at how much it does get out. There are a few different sizes, we use the medium. I found mine at the store but I believe they are on the MyCorgi.com online store on the right side of the page for much less. Good luck and enjoy your baby.
