SQUAAAWK!!! The gruesome twosome strike again.
The best/worst toy ever!
Found this at tractor supply yesterday, at about noon. a 12inch chicken that fits perfectly in a corgi mouth. Hard plastic and if you squeezed him- he squawked. I knew it was the perfect toy for the gruesome twosome. I got it home and it was love at first sight. Tigger wanted to do mad runs with it in his mouth. Molly wanted to kill it. They played with it for about an hour and then we put it away as there were other things to do.
Fast forward to last night, bored with Gustav coverage, Tigger took a nap. Meanwhile, Molly snuck up and stole the chicken (she would never do this with Tigger awake!) Before I knew it, there were chicken legs and beak parts everywhere! Tigger tried to take it back and there was a fight over the last leg. I had to break up the non-fun! I found their old favorites- the squeeky lemon and the hamburger- but no one wanted anything to them...they wanted their now-squawkless chicken.
I need to find a sturdier chicken.
Other great finds at TSC: $3.69 for a five lb. bag of dog treats. And, TSC now sells Blue Buffalo!

Oh what a funny story!! My Mandy loves toys like that and would have probably done the same!! I am glad they enjoyed their chicken. ;)
