I am going to be moving out on my own soon and my sweet Callie will be joining me. I am really nervous on how she is going to take it. She is 4 months old and 10lbs (she's small I know!) and she has gotten used to living with 4 people, 3 cats, a rabbit, and a chinchilla. Now we are going to live in an apartment with just us 5 hours away. I'm moving because of school and there is no way I could leave my baby behind. Not only because I'd miss her but she is so attached to me.
She has been an awesome puppy most of the time, (only a few times has she really acted out) She is litterbox trained (which I did just because I knew I would be moving out) and the apartment has an area where I can put up a gate and leave her in the kitchen so she can have space to move and play. I'm just hoping she will not act out because of the move. I will update once I get a computer after I move! Wish us lucK!

Callie will probably be fine- she'll love having you to herself. That said make sure you really wear her out while you're together- long periods alone and boredom are what cause "acting out". You might want to look into a local doggie day care for some more interaction and socialization (sometimes they're looking for part time employees- so that might be an option also).

Good luck Lusa!! I think I may be moving out of this house soon also, to an apartment with just us. I don't know how Lola is going to take not seeing her "daddy" anymore, but hopefully it won't be too hard on Callie =) Take care
