Cat and dog interaction - 2 (photo-story)

So, they are still in those love-hate relationship! However, Charlie became bigger, and now he plays rough games with Marusa (my cat) and chases her everywhere. As a revenge, she likes to sleep in his crate whenever it's left open.

So, here is the story.

Charlie intended to sleep in his crate, but when he got there, Marusa was already in!

"Okay, okay, I'll go find something else..."

"Wait a minute... Isn't it MY crate??? And I need to show Marusa who is the boss!"

"Show me WHAT???"

"Now you see whose crate it is!"

"And not just a crate... Everything!"

Disclaimer: my husband was supervising the whole story while I was taking pictures. No corgi actually suffered during this photo-session :)

That is hilarious!! We have the same thing at our house!! Our cat, Melvin, tries to sleep in Grover's crate!! Grover just tries to crawl in too, like he wants to snuggle and usually Melvin books it out of there before Grover can start licking or biting him! I
Grover and Melvin definitely have a love hate relationship: Grover chases Melvin all over the house (we are trying to break him of this habit!!!!) but when Grover lies down to nap, Melvin walks up and tries to groom him! Licking in his ears and licking his head! Poor Grover can't get a nap in without Melvin coming over to chide him for being such a dirty boy!
Cats and Dogs!! Living together!!

That's awesome! I kept waiting for the crate related showdown between Caleb and Sophie, but Caleb could really care less about his crate and vastly prefers to be on his doggy pillow next to the screen door, consequently Sophie thinks she got a new kitty house. The next time she hurls herself against my bedroom door in the middle of the night, however, she just may find herself stuck in there! :-)

I want to know how are you guys getting your puppies into these crates and then staying there?

How cute! We have the same sheepskin bed and the same tie-dyed blanket. Sidney calls the shots with our cat Pippin. The cat ends upon the counters or hiding in my daughter's room.

That's great! I would like to have a cat one day, and I can only hope that Ofelia will get along with him/her.By the way, I love Marusa's moustache.

HA HA! My corgi and one of our cats is the same story! For a while, Harry refused to go back into his crate since it smelled like the cat. We had to buy him a new bed to get him to go back in...the other 2 cats he just chases around the house...our water bottle goes through lots of water trying to "squirt" him away from the cats!
