Sunny

Had a frustrating day today. My puppy Sunny (who is rather shy when it comes to other dogs he doesn't know) got attacked by my neighbors dog who had gotten off her line. Sunny was going potty and here comes the dog right on top of him. My daughter got her off Sunny before Sunny had a chance to be hurt- he was just terrified. I've never heard a dog make the noise he made- it was like a scream. We deal with this all the time (their agressive dogs getting off their lines) and it seems like there is nothing anyone (animal control has been called numerous times) can do. At least he wasn't hurt.
On a better note- Sunny starts puppy kindergarten tomorrow. Wish him luck!

Comment by Carmen on October 18, 2008 at 6:11pm: Poor Sunny! Glad to hear that he isn't hurt. I agree about calling the mayor if animal control isn't doing their job. It is too bad that people can't keep an eye on their dogs. I hope he does well in puppy kindergarten!

(about 6 - 8 mths old) A neighbors dog started chasing him and he made a "screaming" noise and peed all over himself. He ran as fast as he could to try to get back in the house. He seems to hate strange dogs since this happened.

Our neighbors dogs have attacked 2 other dogs in our neighborhood and no one seems to be able to do anything about it! err. It is so irritating, I know. But I'm glad Sunny was okay! And that your daughter was okay too! Maybe Lou Ann is right, raising a stink with the mayor might help.
Good luck with puppy Kindergarten! Maybe Sunny will get to have some good socialization experiences there!!
