for a few months, iive been asking around how to have lola involved with pet therapy.

i've finally enrolled her in a Canine Good Citizen class, and she does better than i would have guessed. she responds flawlessly to the trainer... while i still get the hang of holding the treats, the clicker, AND the leash. needless to say it's me that needs the training lol.

my only concern is the clicker scares her. i try to muffle the noise, or put the clicker behind my back. she still jumps. (poor corgi. "all the better to hear you, my dear.")

all the same, i'm very excited; pet therapy has been on my heart for years now. it's still a process of getting her CGC paper and what-not then finding an actual organization. that should be the easy part, no?

out of all the extra-cirricular activities i am involved in, this is my favourite. spending time with lola in a learning environment is a lot of fun.
