On Christmas day Ben left our home for his new foreverhome. It was difficult saying goodbye, I had become so attatched as his "foster Mom". I hope he is doing well, have not heard too much about him. I had hoped his new owner would have been kind enough to email on occasion to let me know how he was adjusting. I miss his sweet face and his antics. Toby and Lola seem to be ok. The first few days they wanted more attention and loving from Bob and I. It will be awhile before I consider fostering again. The calm is nice and must admit I have been greiving. I just hope Ben is happy, thats the main thing!

Bless your year for being a foster mom. We love our foster homes and cherish each one. We are thrilled to have folks who adore our little pals and are willing to bring one back to good health and a good mind before going to their forever homes. Do know the new owners may not stay in touch but Benny will never forget. I have found some adopters stay so much more than others. Perhaps you can e-mail them and ask how he is settling in? Always remember we do it for the dogs and not for the people. I hope you continue to foster. Corgis in need deserve the love you have to offer.
