Theory meets reality!

I think I was naive to get a puppy but I also think it's good to start some where some time in my life to accept this new responsibility.

I picked up Rambo from the airport yesterday and drove back with my friend. It was a long day! He is hyper yet sweet! And a lot of work! Everything about him is great! I adore him and he's so cute and everyone noticed how unique he is. The greatest challenge yet is potty training.
He's not going on the doggy pads right now. I have to watch him closely and drop him on the cloth when he is about to go. But he still did his doo doos without me catchin him on time. A little frustrated right now, but I know these things takes time and it's not an over night thing to get him trained.

Wish me luck on Day 3...

I'm going through the same potty training woes as you. He's really good at going #2 outside, but he's had a couple accidents on the pee (good thing they're only small puddles!). Steve seems to think the doggy pad is a toy and keeps chewing it up like newspaper..... Good luck to you!

Hi Rambo! You're so cute! Man Tau is 11 weeks old and I brought him old when he was 9 weeks old also. Now he has "some" idea where to pee pee. He always step his front legs inside the tray but left his butt outside (hahahahahaha!) I believe it takes maybe one to two more weeks training to make him fully understand. Raising a dog needs lots of patience and love. Good Luck~

Good luck with Day 3. We employed modified Kennel training with our corgi puppies and were able to get through potty training with reletively few accidents. It does take a watchfull eye. You picked a great breed.
