We just lost our little corgi, she was only 8 months old and she got hit by a car.

Her name was Meara which means mirthful, and like her name she was happy. She somehow got out of our fenced in backyard and I'm sure was joyfully running across the road. Thank you for your well wishes. I really need to get some pictures of my Corgis on here, she was always so happy in her pictures. My boys, corgis as well, don't seem to care.

So sorry to hear that! It's so hard to lose such a young pet before their time is really up. Just remember you gave her the best life she could have had and she's looking down on all of you now!

I am so sorry to hear of your lost. I lost my beloved skye terrier Tucker some years ago which led to my first corgi. The gleeful happiness they have made the lost of Tucker somewhat easier to bear. Know that God has your wonderful baby in his care and she is happily playing in the fields of heaven. May God be with you in this time of pain.

The loss of a pet in a lot of ways hits us so much more deeply than the loss of anyone else... except maybe a child...because really, they **are** our children... ::sigh::

I'm so sorry to hear of little Meara's passing. Warm thoughts and virtual hugs.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I have lost my Guinea Pigs before, one was really young, but cannot imagine how it feels to lose a happy corgi. Guinea Pigs just eat, sleep and drink, but a corgi plays with you. You are in my thoughts. :(

I am so so sorry for your loss. Words can't express enough. They find there way into our hearts so quickly. You are in my thoughts. Take care and know that others care as well.
