OK, so I've never done this before, but there's a first time for everything!

Sidney came to live with us on January 4th 2008. Now he is 8 months old and he's quite the character.

SIDNEY:
My new family is great! They have taken me to obedience class, where almost all of the dogs were bigger than I am! I had to bark a lot to keep them from stepping on me, but the humans frown on that, so I had to learn to be quiet during class. I guess it is important to learn how to behave. I'm pretty good, but I can't seem to learn what "come" means. I keep thinking it means "let's play" and I start a running game! My owner gets frustrated when i get it wrong!

I also get WAY too excioted when it is time to go on a walk! I pull and pull and run like a kite in the wind. It's amazing with my short legs that I can move like that. Mom keep trying to correct me, and neither of us likes that. I hear she bought me a new collar that has a small section of choke chain (doesn't that sound AWFUL??) on it, but it is supposed to help me mind better. We have not tried it yet, so let's see how it goes.
