Renaissance Faire!

Hi! It's Sidney the Corgi again...

Here is what I got to do today! The humans got dressed up in funny clothes and took me and the old Corgi in the car for a ride. You know what, the car is fun now! I used to be afraid but now I know it means going someplace fun. Unless we end up at the vet. The vet is NOT fun, but they do give me a cookie if I am a good puppy.

Today we did not go to the vet, though. We went to a big park where something cool was going on. Mom called it a Renaissance Faire, but to me it was lots of humans in strange clothes and lots of good smells. They were cooking all kinds of food, right out there in the park! It smelled so good, but we only got some ice cream. At least I got to have some!

There were lots of other dogs there, but Bruce and I were the only Corgis. Everywhere we went, I heard the people say "CORGI!" really loud and clap their hands. Everyone wanted to meet me...aw shucks! I guess people at Renaissance Fairs must really love us short dogs! I tried to eat a sandwich from the hand of a little girl, but she was too quick for me! That's OK, Mom says she does not want me to get fat.

As we were leaving, I even got petted by the Queen! I hear she is a Very Important Human. She said she was going to miss having me in her Kingdom. Maybe I can see her the next time we go.

One of the people who sells things thought it would be cute to see what I thought about a stuffed fox that was as big as me and looked just like me. Old Man Bruce and I both tried to eat it!
