1st Birthday!

Izi celebrated her very first birthday last Wednesday in a big way! She got loads of presents, wrapped so she could enjoy ripping them out, and even a doggie cake. She got: a "tough toy" shark (which is now in pieces), a turtle, a porcupine, and a snake. She loved each one, taking turns carting them around the house. She also got a snuggie, which looks adorable on her.

She was such a good girl too, posing for pictures in her birthday dress and birthday hat. (Oh the death glares I got.) Even though she had to suffer through 5 minutes of cutsie photos, I think she had a great time eating treats and playing with her toys.

Comment by Zach and Lisa on June 24, 2010 at 12:33pm: Sounds like a blast! Just a helpful tip to you, if that "tough toy" is from GOdog, They will replace it for an equal or more expensive toy. Anytime I purchase a toy more than $10 and it gets ripped to shreds before we get out of the parking lot of Petsmart, I go online and call the company up and get a new toy sent. Granted it never lasts much longer but it's the principal of the matter. I don't like paying bigger bucks for something that my dog will rip up and destuff in 30seconds. Sorry about the little rant.
It sounds like Izi had a fabulous time at her party. And she looks so glamorous in her birthday dress.
