I emailed a lady at the humane society also as she had another person looking for a Corgi rescue and asked her to pass this on.

 

I already heard back from someone at CorgiPals and she forwarded it to another person. That was fast!

Jane I am glad you figured it out. I have been following the story of the 1st 2 that were rescued, Lyric and Hambone. I didn't find out until today that more corgis were on the way. National Mill Dog Rescue is the one that is organizing the rescue. Apparently there are a total of 109 dogs being rescued, of that 29 total are corgis, they took the first 2 a few days back as they were the worst of the group, Lyric was falling over and almost near death. Hambone also was quite ill. They have both been in the hospital, but as of Saturday they both had made improvement in they health. they still have a long way to go. I wish I could help physically...I would love to take a dog, but I am in MI and I don't think they will let me. I sent money, that is the best I could do, in addition to posting here, where I know there are wonderful corgi-folk that will help, however they can.

Thank you so much for posting this.  I am outraged that this keeps happening!  I will make a donation for them and say a special prayer, that they all are made healthy and that they all find furever homes!  Wish I could take one!!

I contacted her through the site...I can probably take 1 without having to find a divorce lawyer, but city rules are 4 dogs max, and I already have 3. I can help transport too...

Do you where they are from. I have 4 from 2 years ago in Ottumwa where the woman had to surrender 3 groups of 10.

 

I can't take any or I would be living in my chicken shed but I would gladly transfer or come down and help if it was needed. I'm gone through Sun. I will friend you and if you want I will give you my email . I can also get the word out to people once they are ready to go:)
