Today we had a corgi meetup at a local organic farm.
We had a great time, and for the first time, I let Sidney roam off-leash! I was so scared, but I figured I'd never know how he'd do if I didn't try.
He did so well! When he'd start to wander out of sight, I'd call him and he'd come running right back to me. Ah, he seemed to be so happy.
He got to meet the farm goats. Once I let him off leash he jumped right into their corral to have a barkfest. Luckily the goats didn't mind much.
He made new friends. There wasn't a single incident among any of the 30 corgis there.
We got a lesson in making our own organic sweet potato dog treats
Corgis asking for fresh-baked treats!
There was an awesome farmer's market with gorgeous fresh produce.
We explored the farm and met goats, ducks and chickens
At the end of the visit, Sidney was content to just relax in the shade of the trees in the courtyard, just as long as I as within his sight. I love my boy!

A perfect corgi outing. How Fun.
Looks like a wonderful time! It is amazing that you can have a large group of Corgi and no fights! Is it just our little guys/girls, or do other breeds have similar successful meet ups?
Lance and Tucker want to move to California and have all the fun Sidney is having!!! Love the pics :)
It sounds like you and Sidney had an awesome day!!!
Way to go Sidney...I know how scary it is to "let them go" Glad you had fun.
